Concept / Preliminary / Detail Design Project
Located on a sloping site in the Fulya district on the European side of Istanbul, Selenium Residence consists of a 25-story high-rise residential block comprising 71 units, along with parking and social facilities. The housing program includes 46 standard apartments of 210 m², 23 studio apartments of 92 m², and two duplex apartments with expansive terraces.
The high-rise mass starts with a high-ceilinged entrance hall and social areas on the ground floor, with its overall volume segmented in consideration of the surrounding urban scale. Oriented toward the lower topography of the Ihlamur Valley, the majority of the units enjoy wide horizons, greenery, and sea views. The curved design of the front facade enhances the panoramic perspective, while the architectural expression on this facade distinguishes between the standard and studio units. The structure is capped by special duplex apartments, which are highlighted through a series of stepped terraces.
